buick55
because i bought the car partial in parts, i find new questions for me every day yesterday i test fit the taillight houses. all no problem and done...but my taillight wires were cut at the ends, so i dont know how the ends/connectors look like and fit into the lamp holders (brakelight/taillight/signal and back-up-light).does anyone have a picture of these wire connectors to the taillight houses and/or maybe know where to buy? old-tank
All of mine are part of assembled cars. The spares I had already went across the pond(s). I can send what you need as part of an assembled car.
buick55
hahaha ok for me it lasts to know how they look like. i really dont know for what i could search...never seen such a plug, know it only for the bulb side.
Paul Falabella
Looks like you need a partial harness. Try this outfit:http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.comI needed just the wiring for my license lights. Two wires with bulb sockets. I soldered into the rear harness. Cost was about $35.
old-tank
From what I remember, this will probably work: http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-taillight-or-parking-light-double-contact-plug-with-wiring-1955-1957.html ...push and twist to install, like the bulb on the other end.If not use a universal socket (you will have to destroy and remove the original socket). There are some on a parts car, but it is too hot to think about it. buick55
@paul thanks, dont need a harness, only the connectors, but i will try also their what they have.@old-tankohhh that looks good, seems to be the right part. thanks...universal sockets would my last choice, i dont want to destroy the original parts if it goes the right way.
