Jim65Riv
I received an e-mail from the Riviera Registry, which I have not opened. Does anyone have knowledge of them?
Jim Cannon
It is a registry dedicated to a particular type of camper conversion that was done to VW panel type vehicles, starting in the mid-60s. They called it the Riviera. It was in addition to the campers that VW sold officially.
CheezeMan
It is a registry dedicated to a particular type of camper conversion that was done to VW panel type vehicles, starting in the mid-60s. They called it the Riviera. It was in addition to the campers that VW sold officially.Ironically, my '63 came with a "Portland Riviera Motors" license plate frame, which originated from the Portland Riviera Motors dealership, where this VW conversion came from. Not sure how rare the frame is, so I am keeping it. Probably causes a few to pause, and say "What?".
Jim65Riv
I took a chance and opened the e-mail. It was an ad from a women's health magazine for women to take 23 pounds of belly fat off in one month. So, if you get an e-mail from the Riviera Registry, just trash it.
