Maybe the children feel obliged to humor their fathers and allow themselves to be dragged to a car show and pretend that they actually enjoy it. I took 11 old guys ( over 85 each one ) for a short ride ( about a mile ). Every one of them had an interesting story to tell. When it was over one old fellow offered me $2 dollars to fill er up ! Took my son out where his 1991 Mustang has been stored for almost 5 years and drove it home with no issues.
