D-a-n-i-e-l
Here is the new console. I will be redoing the lower ring bc it is not quite right. Does it look close enough to stock? Not the switches. BTW the switch for the windows increased the speed of operation by quite a bit.Daniel

D-a-n-i-e-l
The OEM radio is still functional. I ran the front speakers through the auxiliary input of the radio I will be using. The pod in the picture will also be covered in a matching vinyl.
jbeary
Sweet! You got one up on me just by having door panels! Are you planning to go the tablet route or something different? I was looking at an Archos 5 because it's 4:3; I'd hate losing the trim. Have also been looking at doing a home brew media center but the 7" tablets with good Bluetooth are much cheaper. Would be great to have a post listing the components when you have a chance.
D-a-n-i-e-l
I am using an alpine double din DVD player. If I want to it can mirror my android so it is all the computer I need. My biggest concern is the sound quality so I am sticking with a source that outputs a quality signal.
D-a-n-i-e-l
So I finally finished all the electronics and thought I would post a couple pics of the console and dash. The deck/fog light switch is a little bubbly but I will fix that when I redo the vinyl covering as it is a little off color. The vinyl wrap I found matches fairly well. I also have to order a bigger piece as the console piece grain is running the wrong way. Finally I threw in a picture of the trunk. Believe it or not there is still a lot of usable space. D-a-n-i-e-l
Fixed a small exhaust leak and finished the engine cover. Next week I should be on the road and really testing the install out.
