auburnseeker
Keep looking. Something better will turn up. Hey even place an ad in a local paper or trader. You might find options you didn't even know existed. There is lots of stuff out there for sale that's not advertised. Good luck.
D Yaros
I have been following, but not commenting. Time now to jump in. My very first car, ever, was a 1954 Plymouth. All I will say in that regard is, Once is enough!I would recommend a 1965 or '66 Ford Falcon myself.
c49er
The plymouth over the falcon any day.
Guest Tusler 49 New Yorker
I have found parts for these old chrysler products are findable but very expensive. If I had a choice I would go with a Chevy or Ford because there are a lot more parts and they are cheaper.
c49er
Talking about parts for a 49 chrysler yes parts are $$$$ and hard to come by. A plymouth much easier not a lot of die cast chrome either and a simple flathead six-NOT the 323 eight that are $$$ to repair or rebuild.
60FlatTop
If I had been born less than 30 years ago I think I would ease into collecting watches. Collector (not Classic) cars are too expensive for the last couple generations.Bernie
