55 Part Identify-One more time

I labeled these two items "Hsng Brkt to Bolt", in an attempt to confuse myself, which worked.

They are about an inch square, lightly plated, one screw in one of two holes.

Anyone?

Paul, I don't recognize them right off. What have you got off the car now or have had recently, that might tell us where to start,.

Please resize your photos before posting, down to about 60-100kb would be nice. On dial-up, my machine downloads pics at appx 1.6 kb/sec and your pic took me 9 minutes to load. I almost lost interest waiting.

Pretty sure it came off the front. Bumper(complete), grill, mustache and headlamp doors.

Rear of car was off too, but all accounted for.

That is properly called a "skip-a-part". Most of us install them on the second shelf or drawer under the workbench...they usually have plenty of company.

With slotted screws, would it be some sort of license plate (non-Buick) piece? I don't recognize them. Maybe I need to check under my workbench.

LOL.I tend to agree with Willie. Though with weight problem I had with registering this car, the registration may now be incorrect.

I did manage to squeeze those bumper jack hoist point paper weights in the back bumper. Could'a tossed those too.

If you don't have those jacking point things and you ever have to actually use your original jack, you will shred the bumper.
