Dave Henderson Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) The clam-shell bumpers, unlike those on other '41's indicate that this car was the economy trim line called the "Special". The rear bumper of this model has Ford script, which is unique to the Special. Hot rodders love this bumper, and put it on the rear of '40 Fords, which came with similar unscripted bumpers.
