avgwarhawk
Buick hearse. Never have seen one like this. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2012/11/sake-racer-has-coolest-hearse-ive-seen.html
D Yaros
Like the 56 Chevy tailights. Wonder if the gas tank fill is behind the driver side light assembly?
avgwarhawk
From the looks of it I would say yes because the bright work on the rear quarter show no door access. The blog was started in 2012. At the bottom of the thread it would seem someone has taken the Buick from the field. What happened since then I don't know. jscheib
From my perspective, this wasa home creation of "mostly" Buick components, and a later drive train. I doubt it was ever used as a hearse.John

I doubt it was ever used as a hearse.JohnI'm not so sure on not being a hearse. The deck in the back looks to have the sliding platform that allows the casket to be placed and pushed/pulled from the rear. It certainly is odd with the amount of windows and the large rear door. Two angels at the top of the door. Two over the front windshield. There is a separation wall/window between the front seat and rear area. A rail down each side on the interior to keep whatever was place there from banging the walls and possibly used to help secure the cargo/casket. Guest BigDogDaddy
In the " I just love the picture of this Buick" thread, in post 1353 is a few pics of 1955 Buick Ambulances with windows in the roof that look similar to this hearse. Maybe the conversions were done by the same company.
Bleach
Looks South American. They seem to have a very unique style compared to other parts of the world.
