Guest bugged
Is there a group with an interest in the Cole Automobile? I am interested in the 8-50 1916 model V-8. Edited February 21, 2014 by bugged (see edit history)
West Peterson
I believe the make may have just been accepted by the Classic Car Club of America. And certainly the Antique Automobile Club of America is interested in it.
jeff_a
Great cars. Very distinctive styling compared to the non-coachbuilt Cadillacs. My grandfather, Glenn D. Brown, had a V-8 Cole out in a field, at least until Bill Harrah found out about it and had someone drive out and get it. A lot of folks don't know that both the Cole Motor Car Co and Cadillac had their engines built by the Northway Co., but Cole had detachable heads before they ever appeared in Cadillacs. To Cadillac's credit, they did catch up in 1918.
