EUGENE
want to convert my 63 Riviera drivers seat from power [too many issues] to manual. Can I use a set of manual rails and bolt them to seat frame.Where might I get them and what years can I use. Thanks
Bleach
What problems are you having? The electric seat mechanism is a fairly simple and bullet proof system even if it hasn't been looked after that much.
Guest Lasse
I would actually like to do the same thing. The mechanism work now after a lot of clean & lube, but the motor is busted so that it only moves back and forth. And despite some efforts, I couldn´t find a replacement motor. RivNut
Find a manual base, install the reupholstered seat, drive it like you stole it. All the while keep you eyes open for a good power seat base.

1965rivgs
I would actually like to do the same thing. The mechanism work now after a lot of clean & lube, but the motor is busted so that it only moves back and forth. And despite some efforts, I couldn´t find a replacement motor. If the motor moves the seat back and forth it should raise and lower the seat also. Your problem is either in the trans, cable or the screw mechanism. Tom
