Guest Mc_Reatta
Didn't realize Syrians were so interested in Buicks. Looks like they are in need of some new cars over there though.Think we were just some low hanging fruit for their rather unsophisticated hackers. Hopefully they will stay that way. Ronnie
I'm still seeing some strange flashes sometimes when I click on a link in the forum but I don't see the popup ads right now. I'm sure Peter is on top of it and will get it straightened out soon.

Guest Mc_Reatta
Now that the horse broke into the barn, it might be a good time to change your password(s).While they were probably more interested in administrators and moderators info, your personal info like password, email address etc. were visible to them and could have been copied for future use.Of course they could always sign up to be a forum member, but may try to cause trouble by posing as you. Ronnie
Changing password is probably a good idea. I don't think they were after stealing anything from this website. What attracted them to the AACA website what the large number of forums it provides. The Reatta forum is just one of about 130 and all of them were effected by the attack. They were looking for the opportunity to display their message to the largest audience possible in an effort to try to sway the American public's opinion about the war in Syria. I think their message was just a big waste of everyone's time.
