Guest Rob McDonald
Gorgeous. I can hardly wait to see these, after Smartin has done the Roady paint detailing...
Smartin
Rob, my Roadmaster is a 4 door, and doesn't have these particular parts on it. I love these trim pieces on the 2 doors, though. They're really sharp. Nice job, Frank.
Guest Rob McDonald
Oops, you're right of course, the 4-doors have a quarter-window* at this point. Still, black "valleys" there would look great, wouldn't they?(* Were all four quarter windows powered on the Limiteds, like on the '58 Cadillac Sixty Specials? That panel of 8 window switches on the driver's door panel was a marvellous thing to behold.)
Smartin
Buick did not have power vent windows in 58.

John_S_in_Penna
Thank you, 58 Buick Ranch, for reproducing these. I don't need them myself, but anyone who reproduces old parts does a great service to the hobby. I hope you'll do a large enough run so that future collectors will find some available. (If I'd find a nice '58 Super coupe, I would buy spares myself!)
dei
To echo John's gratitude, thanks too for the efforts to re-manufacture those highly visible and often dulled or pitted panels. NOT to be critical or picky, they are only used on the Roadmaster two door and the Limited two door models. The Super two door has three chromed bars in the area. The Century and Special two doors use different designs also so, Thanks again!
