Luigi Cap
What points could you use for a 425ci Nail head...and on another topic, what was the original exhaust diameter for a 64' Riviera.
Bill Stoneberg
I find my points at the local NAPA parts house. Most of the parts houses still carry them.

Luigi Cap
Thanks for the help but would anyone know as to whether the same points could be used for a 327 as a 401 or 425.
RivNut
Compare part numbers. However for some reason (perhaps having to do with threads on Petronix igintions) I think I read that chebbies and Buicks rotate in opposite directions.
Guest kaycee
The same points were used on all GM V8s from about 1957 . My 1963 Buick 401 uses the same points as my 1971 Corvette350. kaycee

AC Delco hasn't made actual parts for years. So original stuff kinda means old original stuff these days. BWD and Standard merged years ago, Echlin is a rebox. Who knows who's crap is in the box anymore. The only brand I have had personal bad experience with was Wells, I don't know if they are in business anymore. I recently peeled a Motorcraft sticker off the top of a Ford coil on plug, there was the old "S" Standard stamp right in the resin.
