Leif Holmberg
This`s a picture of a 1912 T-Ford modified in Sweden with spring supension wheels(and maybe doors too ?).Could this be home made type of suspension or was it an option in USA.This is a picture from The Swedish AHK (Automobil Historic Club).Leif in Sweden
oldford
I saw a similar set for sale in Hershey in 2011. Red Field. Never an option by Ford. Just one of the millions of accessories, just one of the more odd ones...Frank

1937hd45
Thank you for posting the photo Leif. It is a 1912 T just like the one I have with the rear door handles that Ford removed sometine in June, the front doors are correct. This was a selling feature in 1912, and the first time Ford used the term Fordor, as in forward door. It looks like the car has a 1913-14 windsheild, I think I can see the support rods that go up to the hinge. Nice accessorie wheels, don't know well they worked, but fun to look at.
