Guest RaverReatta
1989 Buick Reatta For Sale | Madison WisconsinIt's definitely not my bag, but a lot of work has gone into it, and I like seeing that someone has tried hard with a Reatta. That price tag though...
D-a-n-i-e-l
It was on Ebay a bit ago for $50k. I could build one for around 15K, and I thought about it. My issue would be the diagnostics. I refuse to lose them in anything I do to my Reatta, and I assure you he lost them in this one.
Guest RaverReatta
Oh definitely, with the second gen swap. I'm actually not a fan of his Reatta in particular (no offense to his hard work), but it sure caught my attention.

Ronnie
It's probably worth the money if it gets the 99.9 mpg showing on the CRT.

padgett
If I were doing something like that today, everything including the dash would be tablet based. NorthStar should have an ODB-II connection.
Guest RaverReatta
Funny, my dad is actually working on building an app for phone/iPad that goes from ODB to to aux for diagnostics
padgett
Have you seen Torque ? I'm giving up on Android and iOS. With Windows based tablets that can already do everything, I'm not working there any more. The place for Android/iOS is smart phones, some entertainment, and toys. TouchScan & ODBWiz. I can agree with the "place for Android/iOS" being limited to those, although I guess it never hurts for them to try to expand beyond their initial markets. You know, smart to be greedy these days. xD

padgett
a) Torque — OBD2 Performance and Diagnostics for your Vehicle Intel came out with "Clover Trail" - low powered x86 and that runs Windows 8. First tablets (Acer W510) appeared after Thanksgiving. I have had Android tablets and an iPad - none can do what this one can.

No need to reinvent all those wheels is there?
