I want to replace the rope FRONT crankshaft seal in my 1964 425 with the neoprene one that will drop in the timing cover (I know such a seal exists!).I'm having a problem sourcing this modern seal locally (no application listing at the auto parts stores). Anyone have the Fel-Pro seal number (or whatever)....OR the name of a vendor you guys have been getting these neoprene front seals from? Thanks for the help. Ed Raner has also verified that Federal Mogul #474272 (and its interchange National #470543) are indeed two good numbers for the upgraded neoprene FRONT crankshaft seal on our nailheads. There's information in that link about both the front and rear seals.
