keiser31
Got these two items that I want to put together. Has anyone here ever removed a ram horns/face from one of these caps? I know it slides up and off, but I was wondering if anyone has actually done it and how tough was it to remove?? Thanks. John
idrjoe_sandiego
John, you just reminded me of another post awhile back by a guy with a name sounding something like yours. Coincidentally, he had a similar "take the head off the mascot" fetish. Here it is : http://forums.aaca.org/f143/how-does-ram-come-apart-301300.html Whadya know, it was YOU! keiser31
Yep...I just wanna see a photo of what kind of attachment I am dealing with or if there is a danger of breaking the legs off.
34dodger
I have a ram's head that I haven't swapped out yet, and can posts pics later this evening or tomorrow when I have a chance to dig it out from it's hiding place. I believe the head has 2 pins that hold it on to the body...you'll have to pull it off towards the front. More later...I'm off to work.
34dodger
Here's what the one I have looks like. I haven't tried to remove one of these from the body of any of the rams I have yet, so I can't say what the best way to remove one is.....except carefully! 35cz8
I wonder if the 1936 is the same? Anyone ever try removing the head / face from a 1936 ram?
