Guest gunjeep444
My 56 Roadmaster was lowered by the previous owner. Cut a coil off each spring. I like the looks but it is NOT fun to drive. So, any recommendations on springs and what other parts I would need. It has new shocks and I plan to have a mechanic put them on.I see CARS has sets a lot cheaper, but I wonder.....Like to get a good ride back so it is fun to drive, not just to look at. packick
I got mine from these folks and am happy with them. They are made to OEM specs:Coil Spring Specialties
JohnD1956
a few years ago I went to NAPA and ordered my springs from specs. The number of turns, pigtail ends and, the big difference) diameter of the metal. I had bought a set from CARS but the diameter of the metal was much thinner than I wanted and the car rode too low for me. I wound up sending them back.
