AACA Library
If you like automotive literature, manuals, periodicals, and more plan on coming to the Fall Meet a little early this year. The AACA Library & Research Center will be holding its literature auction on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at 10am with a preview beginning at 8:30am. The auction will take place at the Hershey Region HQ next door to the AACA Museum (161 Museum Road, Hershey, PA 17033). A list of offerings can be found by clicking here. We do not offer telephone or internet bidding & we will not sell any lots before the auction on October 3rd. All proceeds from the literature auction go directly to the library; it is a very important fundraiser for us so we hope to see you there!!! Steve Moskowitz
Sorry not possible! Due to logistics Monday is the only day available. There is no auction next year as we only do this every other year.

I will plan for 2013 to arrive on Monday rather than Tuesday, I hope to driving that year rather than flying Edited August 26, 2011 by packards42 (see edit history)
John_S_in_Penna
Even though the AACA literature auction has been held every other year,I understand that there will be no such auction in 2013; that, instead, the literature has been sold piecemeal throughout the year via Ebay. The in-person literature auction was such an enjoyable event that enhancedthe Hershey experience. Please bring it back!
Steve Moskowitz
John, while the auction was fun for many it is not coming back. The library must make wise use of its time and resources. Selling on eBay is more efficient and has resulted in significant additional funds for the library. Please note that the library always has books and other items for sale so stop by the library during meet week (yes, we have evening hours too on Tuesday and Thursday until 8 pm). There is quite a selection...also stop by the Library/Museum tent on the Chocolate field for more items for sale.
