West Peterson
The person that submitted this photo to me says there was a CarterCar on the premises, but is unsure if this is it. I don't think so. Anyone else have a guess?
nzcarnerd
Comparing this photo with photos in The Standard Catalog, it does bear a resemblance to Cartercar model of 1907-08. In the conversion for rail use it may have had the chassis altered - the front axle looks to be further rearward than on the car.
West Peterson
Based on the photos in the Standard Catalog, I disagree. The body line under the rear door and the way it swoops up is not evident in the Catalog.

Guest De Soto Frank
Is that a big flywheel, mounted transversely, amid-ship ( under the front seat ) ?
Layden B
My informant says 1905 St. Louis.
