OK ALL: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Here are a few first pictures of the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">1991 Park Avenue</st1:address></st1:Street> that I recently acquired. There is ZERO rust in/out or underneath and 100% zero wear on the window moldings etc; in fact the interior still has that "new car" smell. I am currently in the process of replacing ALL fluids and will be getting a new set of tires since everything is original equipment. Enjoy: <o:p></o:p>

It's amazing how incredibly NICE those cars were!! Especially compared to the current interpretations of "premium luxury"!!! WE took those soft cloth seats for granted back then, as they were in almost every car with any sort of luxury claims, but what have we got now? The woodgrain might be photographic. The "chrome" might be plastic. But that is a MUCH better looking interior than almost ANY new vehicle on the road today -- no matter whose it is or how much the vehicle might cost! And we can't forget COLOR, rather than "colors" of charcoal or "neutral". Even the leather versions of that interior were really spiffy-looking, too . . . especially the crimson reds! Great American Luxury embodied in Buick -- Premium AMERICAN Motorcars!

That's one GREAT car! It'll surely turn heads and elicit comment like "Why don't they build them like that anymore?" from passersby. HOPEFULLY, after you get it all cleaned and updated, it'll be ready to show at the upcoming BCA National Meets in your side of the country!

Congrats!

Thanks Ya'll for the positive comments and $$ offers.

I have put about 180 miles on the Park Avenue since I received it and and not a hiccup yet except for the rear window behind the drivers side not working.

I have been looking for a set of chrome window vents/ deflectors but have yet to find any online or on Ebay. I have found the smoke plastic ones that need to be attached with 3M tape but I think the chrome ones would look nicer and match the rest of the chrome on the Buick too. Anyone have a heads up on where to find a set?

Thanks,
