jcmiller
I just found this old photo of my GG Grandfather Hurley and his car. My grandmother's memoir said he bought a Dodge touring car around 1917 or 1918 and this photo was taken around that time period. Perhaps this is the Dodge. The photo was taken in Central Point, Oregon.
keiser31
I do not think it is Dodge. I have seen those hood latches before...maybe on a Nash.
nzcarnerd
This is not a Dodge but it is from around 1917 - the sloped windshield is something most cars got around that date. I don't think it is a Nash - which began in 1917 - as the Nash here - http://www.thefreewheelers.net/MOM/x1918_nash_Belmontgroup_net.jpg - has the hood latch behind the rear most louvre where this car it is further forward. Unfortunately most cars of this era looked the same.
Big Mark
It's not an early Dodge, the slope of the cowel is not drastic enough. and Dodge had strate up and down windshields until 1923. and had single hook hood latches. If it is a Dodge , it's from 24 or later.
