keiser31
I have put this out here before, but I am still stumped. Anyone know what it was made for? I am pretty sure it's not Kaiser, Fraser, Packard, DeSoto or Tucker.

Guest De Soto Frank
What size rim does it fit ?You're right that it's not Kaiser, Packard, De Soto...I wonder if it might be Frazer, or perhaps Dodge ( the Knight's helmet reminds me of the Royal Lancer)...Chrysler Imperial ? Lincoln ?It "looks" like 1950-'54-ish, if American

jimkf
The caps were made by Lyons, if you check along the inner edge, you'll see their makers mark. Except for the center stamping, they curved alot like 1951 Henry J caps. Since Lyons did work for Kaiser-Frazer and Chrysler (Mopar), my guess is that they are 1950-1951 Chrysler (not Dodge, Plymouth or DeSoto) caps. In 1952, Lyons moved the valve stem hole to above the emblem to accommodate companies putting cut caps on continental kits (KF did this with the 52 Vagabonds). Guest prs519
I am thinking I have an Olds wheelcover from late 40s early 50s that had similarheraldry. I would say Chrysler too, except Keiser knows Chryslers and would know ifit were that~!
