rocketraider
Unfortunately David is right. The only protection against it is staying inside in a fairly well-sealed garage. Some may say a good coat of wax will help. It can actually make it worse as the mineral water will bead and etch the paint around the edge of the water beads. Hot sun makes it even worse. dbirchmire
Once it eats thu the clear coat on a two stage paint job, the stain is there forever. On a single stage paint it can be wet sanded and polished out.
