Guest dah222
Here is a new Fram filter. What would it be used for?
PONTIAC1953
hi, alot of cars and trucks before the spin on oil filter came out, used this type of bypass oil filter, depending on the engine type, this filter would either mount on the intake manifold, the cylinder head, or perhaps even the firewall. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor. Jim Bollman
Need to see the mounting bracket. The side your showing is the same on a bunch of cars.
Dandy Dave
These were also used on some farm tractors and some industrial engine applications. Dandy Dave!
Guest dah222
Sorry. I think the bracket is long gone. This will be too. I have no use for it. I have boxes of old parts and no idea what to do with them.
DAVE A
I helped a lady recently with the same problem. Find a "car guy" in your area that has some computer skills and work out an agreement to list the stuff on e-bay. You may have a substantial sum of money that you are thinking about throwing away. One man's trash is another's treasure. Please consider getting the stuff back in circulation.
