WTB 1929 Buick Model 47 Hubcap, sleeve+ crankhole cover

Recommended Posts

Crank hole covers are hard to come by...I've been quietly looking for one for a few years. There's a fellow in Australia who is considering making reproductions out of stainless steel.

There are multiple hub cap styles and, just so you know, the 20 series (or 116 Series) cars have a smaller diameter hub, so take a smaller cap. That was expensive knowledge to acquire.

Buy a knurling tool Mark and you have it for good. You can get a cheap one off evilbay but it will proably be made in China , OK for aluminium though. I made a cover for my 1929 because those things are as rare as rocking horse **** here. Easy to turn up.
