How do you folks rate Bob's Automobilia?

Greetings,<P>I wanted to get a quick opinion on how you folks rate Bob of Bob's Automobilia. I only called there once and it WAS a Monday but he just seemed almost bothered that I called. I was looking for an exterior part that apparently he doesn't have anymore and I kinda got lectured which doesn't fly very well when you're out to give someone money.<BR>Maybe he was having a bad day .. we all have those. Bob's has given me great service and seems to have better prices than other places I've checked. I spent some time on the phone with him asking a lot of questions and he had the answers. Well I was looking for a front hood emblem (I've since been able to clean and paint the one I had with acceptable results). I really don't need anything at the present time but I was just wondering about how others were treated by him. Thanks for offering. Bob Carrubba Sr. is a bit cranky sometimes...<BR>At least he hates replying to emails, but anyway the prices, fit and quality are fine, and the goods are shipped promptly. I also like their catalog over the others.

I just received an order from Bob's, very prompt service and I found Bob to be very helpful. I would recommend his establishment to anyone. Just remember anybody can have a bad day.

I have dealt with Bob for many years, either at the Buick Nationals or on the phone. All have been good experiences. He has always treated me fairly and provided parts I couldn't get elsewhere. In fact, I wouldn't have been able to finish the '30 Buick Roadster without his help and parts. I feel just the opposite about the Buick Farm.

I called Bob back looking for something else and I think I agree with everyone's comments that I may have caught him at a bad time the first time I called. He was very eager to help. Have known Bob since he was in New Jersey. See him every year at Hershey and he is a-ok. Feel safe dealing with Bob. Gene Auber BCA2060.

I've been dealing with Bob Sr. for over 5 years now. He is an A+ vender. Must of been a bad day or was it an employee?<P>I bought a fuel pump from Bob at the National last year, that turned out to be defective.<P>He had his shop Next Day Air Saturday deliver me a replacement to the show at no cost to me. That's pretty good if you ask me.<P>Bob is very knowledgable and has been in the business for many years. I think he is semi-retired, and just travels the country with his parts trailer, mostly for fun. I dont know were we would be here in Australia without Bobs buick parts! I have been restoring buicks privatly for some 20yrs and would rate him the best, most efficient dealer I have used in that time."Bob you need to be given an award!!" Phil Green [Down Under]

I have been dealing with Bob for 20 plus years. The service has been great and he has always been very helpfull. He is no longer a youngster and you probably got him in a grouchy mood. He is one of the best vendors that I have ever delt with!
