I must agree........ post have been removed because they got out of hand. There was a lot of good discussion and if a single post caused the entire discussion to be removed, then that is not the proper way to handle the situation.

If a poster goes over the line, the moderator should send them a note telling their post (and only that post) is being removed and the moderator should remove the offensive post.

If the poster continues to abuse the discussion privelages, then further action should be taken.

Removing the complete string should have an explination......... to the members

The thread was deleted by BJM, the thread's starter not the mods. I've read the entire thread including BJM's individually deleted posts and don't understand why he deleted it.

I hope it wasnt my post that caused it to be deleted. I tried not to be...... at a loss of a better word ..... "extreme". I didnt want to dig up old ghosts or renew arguments that have long since been settled ..... I was just trying to make it clear why I felt the way I did. That was also why my description was as vague as it was. I wasnt looking to call anybody out. I was just trying to clarify my answers to this thread .

when the original poster deletes his first post the entire thread is gone

it is sad the whole thing had to go..........
