Paul K.
Does anyone have the stock camshaft specifications for lift and duration on a 64 425? Thanks.
JZRIV
LiftExh - 441Int - 439Duration Exh - 299Int - 290Lobe separation or spacing - 109I have not been able to determine for a fact how the duration specs are determined on the original specs. I am guessing its from full closed or very close to it. I have been told that the stock cam was around 208 degrees duration at .050 lift but I have no way to validate that. Paul K.
I have been told the same/close @202 degrees. Thanks.
RivNut
The attached is from a page in an old Riview I have. The numbers were put together by Dennis Manner (if you don't know who he is, his bio is in the article). One thing it doesn't answer is the lift at which the measurements are taken. But, what you'll find surprising is which OE nailhead cam is actually the most radical for OE cams.Ed
