Leif Holmberg
Hi Carine. This Packard is owned by a neighbour to me,he bought the car in USA 5-6 years ago. I really like the 2dr 1953-1954 Studebaker. In 1950s and 1960s I visited Norway a lot of times, and I can still remember all those 1920-1930s cars on the road ,and beside the roads and beside barns. Yes,we really have a lot of USA cars here in Sweden. If you are searching for "power meet sweden"you will find a lot of them. Leif in Sweden. Guest Good Old Days
Hi Leif! We also have a 1956 Golden Hawk and someone once told me about such a car in Sweden. Someone got killed and the police was looking for a 56 Golden Hawk that was last seen at the crime scene!Luckily mine is from California, so no murderer behind my steering wheel!!This car is still original, we just did some work on the Ultramatic.Don't know if the story is correct, but nice to know it was the most wanted car in Sweden at that time!Carine:D
Guest Dauro
Carine, out of topic of this thread but I confirm the story is correct, I clearly remember having read the notice in the newspapers, think in the early or mid sixties. But I can't tell you if they got the man at the end. :confused:Carl
