Approximately 61 cubic inches per Litre / 61 cu. in. per 1000 cc

A 305 cu in Chev small block is a 5 litre, so 305 inches divided by 5 litres equals 61 cubic centimeters. (slightly off, but close enough for calculations - actually 61.024)

Online Conversion - Convert just about anything to anything else

By the way, OEMs play fast and loose with the english-metric conversion. The 302, 304, 305, and 307 have all been called 5.0 liter engines. Of course, since there are abour 6 cu in in 1/10 of a liter, there is some room for roundoff.

Depends on when and where: In 1933 Plymouths were exported so most values are listed in both English and metric. It also appears that the engineers were writing the owners manual. The displacement is listed as "Piston Displacement - 189.8 cu. in. (3111.06 cc.)".

Had marketing or sales been writing that manual it probably would have been 190 cu. in. and 3.1 liters. :)
