Leif Holmberg
This type was used on 1927-1928 models, number 820899 price $ 3.50 in my parts book.(just wonder if this type only was used on late 1927 models) Leif in Sweden
Fred Rawling
This is the correct tail light for 1928. 1927 used a round light with a semaphore lens and only 1 bulb. In those days when a better light came out, many people upgraded. The 1928 light had running, stop, and back up lights combined in it. 1927 was only a stop light.Buick listed it as a replacement for the 1927 and earlier lights in their later catalogues. Leif Holmberg
Maybe this is better pictures.I think there can have been two different Tail Lights in 1927. Leif in Sweden.
Fred Rawling
Leif,The top left light that is listed as a 1927 & 1928 tail light is actually a 1928 Light. The catalogue listed it for the years earlier than 1928 because the original style was out of production, or people wanted to upgrade to the brake and running light instead of the original 1927 and earlier light with just the stop light and sales of the early light were lagging.
