Thanks for posting this! I clearly remember building the Twin Buick AMT model in '62 or '63. Hard to believe they were that young... seemed <span style="text-decoration: underline">so </span>old at the time. To a young car loving lad in south Georgia, these guys were gods whose exploits arrived monthly at the drug store news stand.

I think all the strips they used in SoCal are long gone along with the affordable racing.

Could you post this over on the "Buick V8.com" under the" Bench". This is the best info I've seen on the twin engine car and did not realize it was a record holder.
