  1. You see a lot of ads saying facebook will not let me list this or that. Don't know why. I can tell you, if you search Hudson, under cars. It pulls up every pair of Hudson jeans for sale. I would think a tech giant could program it to have the jeans only come up under clothing.

  6. This one for sale might be partied out. I think you found a match.😃
  7. For sale, like new model T. Never driven, just out of long term storage. Ran when parked. Asking $65,000 Or best reasonable offer.

  12. I have a complete engine, transmission and rear end. In my parts car, never bothered to check the motor. Mileage on odometer is about half what it is on this coupe. Just to far away. There is a 46 coupe on eBay that I have looked at. This parts car could return that car back to a nice complete coupe. To far away, value of a complete project coupe is not enough to justify the expenses. The price of going and picking up cars has gotten spendy. If nobody in the HET club in his area has snagged the car. That might say something about condition or price. I still like it, but I am not in the market for another car.
  13. Who knows until a person checks it out. Just looked like a good car in the facebook ad. I got some pictures passed on to me. The dash is original, and shows it's age. If it was close, I would drive and take a look. To far for me. You are right in your observations Hudsonite.

  15. Date on this one is 5/2/12. Making good time for one guy and a keg of beer.
  16. Date on this picture is 4/23/12, the start of the coupe and convertible tear down.
  17. Extra material is trimmed off of both pieces, and butt welded together. Seats are thrown in, and car gets pushed into the corner. Back to work on other stuff. You can see where the outside skin meets the door jam. Door tops have to wait at this point.
  18. I bought a 1944 American LaFrance. Just wanted the V12 Engine. Could not even give the fire truck away. Fire Department did not want it donated to them. Not a happy ending for most old fire trucks.
  19. Door pillars bolted/tacked down, and the braces welded to the wheel wells. Outside skin is next.
  20. Not to much to explain in these pictures. Just back and forth fitting of the outside skin to the door pillar. Tack welding the convertible braces to the wheel wells as you go. Height of the rear tub on the coupe body, is right where the factory put it. Braces and door pillars sit flat on the floor and wheel wells. Nothing has changed. Coupes and convertibles have the same trunk hinges, lift support and trunk lids. Very easy to bolt on the trunk lid, and check the gaps.
  21. Sounds like someone jacking you around to waste your time. I had someone, or a few different people who were going into my old shop and messing with what was being worked on. No joke, I can tell you about one of the Hudson trucks that sat over night in my trailer. Even called down the guy in the Old Navy shirt from up the road to see what was laying there. Someone forgot a wrench, or did they? Not sure what fun stuff goes on with the dealer side. On the car building/restoration side in Idaho, it is bad.
  22. Blocking tires with a service manual, to keep a car from rolling?
