If it does not work and is sent via email. hopefully the recipient will then post it here so that others (me) can see it?

Brian,
Great looking rides! I bet it was a fun 2 days indeed! Want to see more/all/every pic.
Were there only 7 cars participating, or did some come/leave along the route?

Looks like a neat event. Love the pics! Hope to see more from the event.

I am no authority, but the whole reason for a harmonic balancer is to eliminate internal engine vibration. Assuming it is bad, the engine would indeed shake. Seems to me it would shake itself apart?
If the engine continues to run, albeit poorly, under load, I would suspect more being wrong than just the harmonic balancer.
As the seller to repair/replace the harmonic balancer and then test drive it again.

Yes, the generic GM "Care of Your Convertible Top" booklet is widely available in reprint format. Sure you be able to find it on eBay.

Could of fooled me. I lived in Cincy for over a quarter of a century and never heard of the American Sign Museum. Looks like a really neat place!

Good luck on the sale!
I find it interesting that the clock is front and center, while the speedo is off on the right.

The tail lights on the 60 would indicate it is a Dynamic 88, as opposed to a Super 88.

Seeping out from the rear where: high or low? Suspect you need new gaskets: airhorn, intake manifold.

And, I believe, both of those shows were hosted by Steve Magnate?

Pontiac did build some very impressive cars in the past.
That statement could be applied to almost any automobile manufacturer, could it not?
I suspect we might all also agree that the late 70's and the 80's were not auto manufacturers finest hours?

If the tires are bias ply, versus radial, they will in fact follow every groove or contour in the pavement. That is/was the nature of the beast.

Since it no longer has the original drivetrain, it's fate may be that of a parts car?

In the Tri-five Chevy era only the '55 represented a quantum leap in both design and power plant. '56 and '57 offered only tweaks to the 1955 offerings.

Would not PHS provide some written documentation of the authenticity and rarity? I presume such must be requested, and purchased? What would such documentation cost?
If I had a 1-of-1 I sure would want documentation of that fact, which I would proudly display. The diversity of cars, owners and priorities is what make this hobby so interesting!

As this interests me I bit and went to the site. When I clicked on the Classic Car Tour link I get a 1 page .pdf file that has only 1 word, "Itinerary" in the entire file.
Not much help?

So, you are saying it in fact is a 1-of-1? Is it valuable, given its rarity or not of significant value given its oddity?

Interesting that all of the above responders have stuck with factory distributor/ignition.
Mine is not a Buick, but a 62 Olds. It has the factory uni-set points. Not plan on changing.
Why? I hear far more complaints than praises when it comes to Petronix, and the like, systems. Most everybody that has one keeps the original distributor in the trunk for back up. What does that tell you.
Have seen them die in others' cars when on tour. Not worth the expense and aggravation IMHO.

Recently, at the CEMA (Chrysler Employees Motorsports Association) show in Auburn Hills, MI there was a guy displaying what he claimed to be a 1-of-1 197? Pontiac Gran Am (El Camino). Here is a pic of the vehicle -
I asked what documentation he had to support this claim. His response was, "PHS was aware of the car," whatever that means?
Has anyone heard of this vehicle? Is it in fact a Pontiac creation? Is it 1-of-1?
Any info is appreciated.
