  5. Is anyone coming through St. Louis, MO to Hershey? I accidentally bought a Baldor grinder and stand on eBay and need to get it eventually to Dallas, TX. Vintage Steam Products will be set up at Hershey - RWL 4 and RWL 5. I'd be happy to provide some gas money. I'll be in Baltimore the week before Hershey if anyone is coming that way. Yes, if anyone is coming from or through St. Louis to Dallas or North Texas, that would work as well. Thanks very much! Don Hoke (972) 955-7614 (Cell)
  6. Is anyone coming to Hershey via St. Louis, MO? I accidentally bought a Baldor grinder with a cast iron stand on eBay and need to get it to Dallas, TX eventually. If someone is coming to Hershey through St. Louis, I'd be happy to pay some gas money if you bring the grinder to Hershey and from there we can get it to Dallas. It could also come to Baltimore the week before Hershey. Needless to say, if you are coming towards Texas through St. Louis, that would work as well. The grinder will come off the stand. Otherwise, I'll email my usual shipper. Thanks! Don Hoke (972) 955-7614

  10. For Sale: Stanley Steam Car Sedan Body, 1923 - 1924. Five-passenger sedan body for either a 1923 Model 740 or 1924 Model 750 Stanley Steam Car. Very complete, includes body, fenders, splash aprons, hood, condenser and shell with Stanley name plate, and hood shelves. Minor surface rust on very solid sheet metal. Restoration started decades ago and abandoned. Some good wood. Missing rear seat springs. This body belongs on a Model 740 or Model 750 chassis. There are very few sedans surviving and apparently no 750 sedans. This is as nice an un-restored Stanley Steam Car body as you will find anywhere. There are more photos on www.stanleysteameronline.com We acquired it very reasonably and are happy to pass it along to someone who will restore it and put it on the correct frame. Please see the photos of this body in Kit Foster’s book, The Stanley Steamer: America’s Legendary Steam Car. They show this body on both a 740 and 750 chassis. Based on the size of the windows and the shape of the rear fenders, this body appears to be a five passenger body. There is little if any room for jump seats in this body. Will trade for ? ? ? Yes, Rebecca is still for sale. She is a 1924 Stanley 750B Touring Car and she runs extremely well. More information at www.stanleysteameronline.com. Don & Carolyn Hoke Vintage Steam Products PS Yes, we have steam cylinder oil. Wi

  13. For Sale: 1924 Stanley Steam Car, Model 750B, large seven-passenger touring car. Her name is Rebecca and she was restored in the 1960s before spending several decades in an Idaho museum. She toured actively in 2006 and 2007. She sports a California top, full side curtains, and very nice tires. Her paint has held up very well. We've been working on Rebecca lately and she now runs very nicely. Her new #62 jets fire her burner with ease, and her propane pilot is a dream to light! She holds 450 psi in her 24" boiler and her steam pressure automatic opens flawlessly to allow her burner to re-fire. We've had Rebecca out to a couple of events and she has driven without problems. Her pumps keep her boiler full of water and her fuel pressure tank above 100 psi. Rebecca is ready to tour. $74,900. Call if you have questions. (972) 661-9672

  23. Dear VSP Customers and Friends: Thank you for a wonderful 2009! Without our tens of thousands of customers, VSP would be nothing but a little hobby business stuck in the back of someone's garage. Vintage Steam Products temporarily shut down for Christmas Week this year and because we had such a tremendous year, took all our employees and their families to Hawaii for a two-week vacation. This is a picture of our employees on the beach at Waikiki. Each color of umbrellas represents a different branch of the business. For Example: Under the red umbrellas are the lace wheel handle makers and polishers. Under the green umbrellas are the fitting turners. Under the red striped umbrellas are the Fiberfrax makers. Under the blue striped umbrellas are the wheel puller makers. Under the yellow umbrellas are the folks who manage our shipping and accounting, etc. The large band shell you see at the upper right corner hosted the world famous Beetles Reunion Concert, with the Rolling Stones as the warm up act on Christmas Eve. Everyone flew back on December 26th. Seriously, now, . . . We did have a great year at Hershey. It was Carolyn's first year and she and a very good time. The best part of Hershey was learning of Art Hart's recovery from liver cancer. He and Ro-z went out and bought a Model T. Lace Wheel Handles are now available in quantity. We have a great local stamping house with a laser cutter. If you have scruffy looking lace wheel handles or are building a car, we're ready to supply you! Don't miss our line of stainless steel fittings. Don't forget to chech that fire extinguisher - we stock Halon and Purlpe K! Visit us on the web at www.vintagesteamproducts.com. Time sto start working on that project or getting that car ready to tour this year! Very best wishes! Don, Carolyn, & CJ Hoke PS We have a wonderful 1924 S<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comtanley</st1:City> Model 750 for sale. 24. Are the hubcaps on the Moon front end marked Moon? Could you get a couple of good close up photos of the brakes? They look like early Lockheed hydraulic brakes and if they are the same as are on my 1925 Stanley Model SV 252, I'd be interested. Thank you! Don Hoke The Hoke Stanley Steamer Site
  25. I need two 55 drums of steam cylinder oil moved from the Boston area to Dallas. This is special oil used by Stanley Steam Cars. These drums probably weigh about 500 pounds each and could easily fit on a trailer in front or behind a car. I also need two drums moved from Boston to Clarksville, MD (between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC). Thanks very much! Don Hoke www.vintagesteamproducts.com
