  2. Sublet (Rent) 1-6 GREAT spaces (for a VERY REASONABLE COST - NO premium), right in the middle of this week's Fall Carlisle Flea Market on CORVETTE (I) ROW - the "main street" for the whole Fall Carlisle Flea Market. The total area for all 6 of these spaces is 30' wide by 60' deep (3 side by side 10' x 30' spaces, which are 2 spaces deep - ie each 10' wide x 60' deep, ie drive thru spaces - they front on both I Row - Corvette Row - and H Row, very close to building T, which is the new, big, red metal building which has the Carlisle Flea Market store and bank in it). You can rent 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6 spaces, basically for the out of pocket costs. These are IDEAL SPACES to sell a car or cars, surplus parts or your automotive related products - or, just park right in the middle of the flea market and avoid all of the parking hassles and SAVE A LOT OF WALKING - you can drive right into the flea market every day and park in the heart (center) of it and also save the admission fees (for EVERYONE in your vehicle) which are included with a space rental (and, again, save a lot of walking) . Possible renewal rights for next year and beyond, for both Fall and Spring Carlisle. Again, these are REALLY GREAT spaces which are only available due to a friend's inability to attend the meet any longer due to business commitments. Thank you. Call, text or email me for more details. Herb Singe 908-868-4006 olcaherb@juno.com
  3. This 1960 Buick LeSabre convertible has been the subject of a no-expense-spared restoration to show standards. It is currently offered for sale by a long-time AACA member and collector of 20 prize-winning vehicles. Originally a well-maintained South Carolina vehicle, this Buick was rust free allowing all original panels to be restored to as new condition. All die-cast was removed and re-plated by Librandi’s Plating of Middletown, Pennsylvania. Concours level paint in Titian Red metallic. Interior, trunk, top and rear window are all new and faithful to the original pattern, material and construction. All interior metal—horn escutcheon, window and door handles, arm rests and A pillar trim—was removed and re-plated as new. The interior also has an NOS Buick accessory tissue dispenser with original box. Highly detailed engine bay and the attention to restoration detail is evident throughout with correct decals and instruction tags placed as per original. The jack and related jack hardware, and even the hood springs, have been meticulously restored to their proper finishes. National First Place and AACA Senior Award 2013 Hershey Fall Meet. 7. For the fourth year I'll be covering the Hershey Meet for Antique Automobile magazine. I try to keep it fresh and interesting every year, and to help me do that I'd like to hear what you want to see and read in the article, especially if you won't be coming to the show. Are there aspects of the Meet that you'd like to see more of? Less of? Anything new I should cover? This is your magazine, so let me know. Thanks - Greg Czarnecki

  10. Is it just me? I honestly miss the mud at Hershey. Could we get AACA to haul some nice goooooie, sticky, Pennsylvania mud in and spread it on the aisles? When was the last time you had Hershey mud suck your boot off? or saw a giant John Deere pulling a motor home up a slick hill sideways? or saw parts floating in a mud puddle? How about the year it snowed back when the swap meet was over where the roller coasters are today. Or ankle deep water on the show car lawn beside the stadium. Ahhh, those were the days. Now all we get is dry tired feet from miles of pavement. Well, at least the fire police directing traffic are still mean spirted, thank goodness for small concessions. Hershey's comin' I can't wait. My first Hershey was 1967 and I have missed a total of three in 32 years. If I am not at Hershey check the morgue.
