  2. or you could own a 16V and then you can always bump start it or something to the same effect, the beauty of stick
  3. the leather on the dash is mostly good, that one piece thats on metal is shrunken . i have the car possibly sold dont know yet but if i start taking it apart il let you know
  4. Is this in the trunk itself or what , ive never taken it apart
  5. i have a soft top pull down motor sitting in my parts pile that works from my last car. asking 150$ for that. The switches i need until the car is dismantled. what side parking lens. I only take money order or check, i hold all personal checks til they clear
  6. Anybody looking for white TC or just TC body parts, I am parting this car out in a short period of time and sending it on its way to the yard. could be this week, might be the end of the month, but your wants and needs and offers are requested now so i know if i have to do it quickly or what
  7. here we go, bottom line want it gone, car will drive home if you are probably within about 150 miles i think, i wouldnt venture it much more only because its not perfect. 2800$ or best offer. parts from it become available next week if nobody buys it whole before 7/21. 7/21 i start pulling the motor and everything assoicated to put this into a new project i am picking up tomorrow
  8. I have a Turbo XS bov mounted on a 2.5in pipe that i left over from a swap with my daytona. I was looking at the stock 16V set up in my 90 TC and i see the line for the stock bov in the airbox is hooked to a hard plastic line after it comes out of the air box? Is this the source that i should use for an aftermarket one also, consider i remove the airbox and install pipe and hose in that location?
  9. no you mean the same as your car came with the chrome capped lugs? if so they are the same as on any chrysler , not mitsubishi import.
  10. the switches break the studs on the backside of the plastic and are like 1/2in long, i got 3/4 in or 1in ones and screwed them into what was left of the studs and my switches arent broken suck in anymore
  11. what broke, i have repaired sucken switches with longer screws and cant say anything bad it
  12. sounds like you speed sensor is bad
  13. hagerty is willing to do the TC thats strange i didnt think they did the last time i tried to insure mine as a collector. it wasnt 20 or 25 yrs old yet so they wouldnt do it
  14. lebaron and daytona brakes would be the same from 87-89 i believe
  15. i have a complete car im selling everything in car , not parting just motor or trans, 4000$ for 90 TC with 16V and 284 working perfectly
  16. not parting it to sell motor and trans, the rest would be for sale as rolling chassis. parting just to acquire initial purchase price.
  17. maybe your car is in need of new springs in additon to shocks and struts
  18. does anybody wish to see this car at Carlisle if anybody on this board is attending in 2 weeks? Getting ready to part it out if not, dont need it here and other projects wait
  19. nobody even venturing a offer for it. this car is fixable, its not rotted at all in the floors or wheel wells
  20. you would have all the necessary parts, probably if you have a bunch of ppl that could help 8 hrs, it was just done in Cali that way with one about a week ago. if you are doing it yourself, Sorta like i did with my Iroc R/T almost 2 years ago, it took me 2 solid days of putting stuff in to get it running. that was a TIII into a rolling chassis same year
  21. I bought this car couples weeks ago. Its titled in my name with an actual mileage title. Car runs and drives well, I would not hesitate to drive it daily or for anybody not across the US to drive it home. Has the 16V Cosworth headed motor with a very fine shifting 284 Getrag. Clutch is starting to slip, I wont lie. Tires are shot, needs 4 new ones. Is complete except for umbrella, hardtop holder and tool kit. Interior is good/excellent condition, the body is rusting beneath the doors along the body and under the stainless trim in that area. Will need fenders as they are rotted at the bottom. Headlights are repaired, not anything special at all but work. Body other than rusting is in good shape. Motor starts up everytime. Brakes and antilock both in good functioning condition. I have pictures i can email if anyone is interested. If noone wants it, I will be forced to part it as I will not be saving this one, I have an 89 16V that is in 100times better condition. car is located in northern NJ. asking 4000$, price not firm. car maybe be at Chrysler's at Carlisle on july 7-8
