[Temperature Gradient]

The water flow in a radiator can be measured the following way;

plug the lower outlet, fill it up to the top,take out the lower plug

the radiator should empty in a few seconds with a burst of water, no

water running after the initial burst, if it's coming slow and running for a

while your chances are it's clogged.

Have it checked by a guy familiar with the honeycombs if this happens.

I agree completely, also mask the rim with two or three layers of dug tape or other to prevent scratching.

Allow me to make a remark, did you have your chromed rings heat treated?

I learned the hard way, all 4 broke on my Cad, after chroming, because the chroming process makes the metal brittle,the heat treatment process corrects this, the rings have their original structure back.

[Safety Glass logos 1932]

Perhaps some one is able to help.I like to know if there would have been a logo on the glass of a 1932 Cadillac

All glass has to be renewed and I like to have the logo if it should be there

Your car has the 4.00 wide rim, the 7.50 uses 4.19 wide rims.

The 7.50 will not sit as intended on the 4.00 rim.

Lester is used by me on my '30 V-8 for almost 15 years now and it is

silent and comfortable. I just bought 4 new 700-17 for my '32 Lester WW also.

Had a long thought about 7.50-17, less engine revs, up to almost 10% with the Lester, better looking, but decided against them. The original specifications

also played a role in the decision I must add. Love to know what you decide
