    Miles

With proper maintenance your car could last as long as this Guiness Book world record holder, good luck. Highest Car Mileage A 1966 Volvo P-1800S owned by Irvin Gordon of East Patchogue, New York, USA, had covered in excess of 3,572,342 km (2,219,751 miles) by March 2004. The car is still driven on a daily basis and covers over 160,000 km (100,000 miles) per year, thanks in part to being driven to numerous car shows and events in Europe and the USA.

    headlight switch

Stolen from the Cadillac forum, I believe this is the way the Twilight Sentinel is supposed to work, The Twilight Sentinel is a fully automatic headlamp system. When it gets dark enough outside (at *twilight*), the system will turn on all of your headlamps and taillamps automatically without you having to do anything. The opposite is true as well--when it gets light enough outside (at *dawn*) the system will turn off your headlamp system until it gets dark enough again outside. You should never have to touch your headlamp switch other than foggy, bad weather days or if you're attending a funeral. A second feature of the Twilight Sentinel is that it will keep your headlamps on for a preset time period to illuminate your path to safety in darkness. When you move the rheostat control right past the "OFF" position, the headlamps will remain on for about 3 seconds and then go off. The further you move the control away from "OFF," the longer the headlamps will remain on up to a maximum of about 3 minutes on some vehicles. Starting in 1996, the system was incorporated with the Daytime Running Lamps so during the day the DRL's were active and when the Twilight Sentinel turned on the headlamp system, it turned off the DRL's. 6. I got that number by Googling "Auto Carpet Systems in Dalton GA." and it returned one web-site about feedback from them which sounded pretty much O.K. Feedback. I think the guy on E-bay might not have any thing to do with them other than a middle man function. I could be wrong...

    Air flow

Off topic "The Johnson Bar" . Cool website if you are a railroad buff. See also Item 4 .
  12. My '88 is heated on the driver's side only. Heat comes on when the rear window defogger is turned on. I don't know if a heater could be added to the passenger side without a separate circuit for it.
  13. Welcome to the Reatta Forum. Your best bet is to talk to barney@texas.net . Give him your interior/exterior colors and your VIN number and he can tell you if you have a Select 60 or not. You can also post that information on the forum here and get a whole lot of feedback as to what constitutes that particular genre' of Reatti.
  14. Padgett, do you know where this page went? Sorry, we could not find: http://home.mpinet.com/padgett/wheels.htm If I remember, it was filled with information about various tire and wheel sizes that fit the Reatta.
  15. Try Jim Finn at jfinn@cpinternet.com There are also some chrome paints you can use but, I have no experience with them. Others on this forum might have?

    88 SCREEN

Reatta CRT repair at Rex Service E-mail or call for shipping instructions. Around $100 or so.
  21. Coulda/shoulda been a CRT function, Battery charge/discharge amperage, which would have helped diagnose alternator problems also.
  22. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Now I need a few of you out there to disconnect [a] battery cable and listen when reconnecting it for a clicking sound coming from under the fuse box on the driver's side next to the air cleaner. need to know if i am the only one having this problem........ </div></div> OK, weather was nicer today so, I got outside to do this. Diconnected negative battery cable. When reconnecting, I could not hear any clicking under the hood by the fuse box. But I did notice that all the interior lights, including the two little map lights under the rear view mirror (194 bulbs), and just the odometer on the IPC, did light up for one full minute and then went out. Car doors were closed the whole time. All those light bulbs plus the IPC power supply produce quite a current draw for that first minute after the battery is reconnected. Probably why it's so hard to put a milliammeter in the circuit.
