  2. Hi I just listed two sets of Hub Caps for 1964 or 1965 Buick Rivieras, Check them out if you have one of these cars and want to make your car stand out. Items # 4555470781 4555457712
  3. HI GSSPORT I emailed you on the first day of your listing, no response yet. Are these mats still available. Thanks Paul pduran1860@sbcglobal.net
  4. Hi There, I have owned and sold various 64 & 65 Skylark Convertible both the Gran Sports and the regular w/ the 300 c.i. 4bbl carb a 64 as recently as two weeks ago on ebay .... which sold for $13950 but bear in mind that CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION is the key word ... this one was a very solid #2 on a scale of 1-10 1 being perfect. I have seen them trade on ebay anywhere from $6500 to $14,000. Look on ebays completed sales as that is what they sold for, not what someone is asking which many times is unrealistic. I look at the NADA as well as the OLD CAR VALUE GUIDE but do not actually consider their #1 pricing as they are based on auctions, they add on the commission and remember the heat of the moment and the collection of very serious buyers drive the price up above what you can get on a listing or a newspaper ad. Post a picture, and pertinent info like mileage, condition of paint, interior, motor etc and you should get a pretty good feel. Good Luck Paul email me some pics pduran1860@sbcglobal.net when you have determined a price, I may be interested, depending on info and especially location.
  5. Sounds good to me. I am going to try and insert a picture of my Gran Sport Skylark Conv for you to see, I really like this one better than all the rest. Paul
  6. Hi BlueSky62, I'd be delighted to have you attend a Pontiac function, here is our web site: http://www.pontiacsofcentralcalifornia.org key on this and you will go directly to it, read up coming events and you will have a listing, email me what function you would like to go to pduran1860@sbcglobal.net and if we can make it, I'll let you know. This is a very active club and you will get plenty of events to attend with the Buick, you are invited to the club meetings as well .... it is not necessary to own a Pontiac and you will not be made to feel like you or your car are out of place. Look forward to meeting with you and as to how long I have been with BCA 1976 and I built a shop/storage shop thats 1400 sq ft plus a three car garage and a two car port so I can park 11 cars indoors and my pickup and wifes Lexus sits outside. Good luck Paul
  7. Hi Blue Sky, Im carbuff from Fresno, CA about 1 hr north of you. I belonged to the Buick Club that was located here in Fresno for many years and it eventually died due to the fact that there was not a continuous recruiting for new members, the older members liked things as they were, the newer ones did not and little by little it died. I tried renewing the club in Fresno, had a meeting at my house with about 25 prospective members attending ...... I could not get commitments for anyone to help with the management of the club ..... everyone wanted to join and particiapate without putting any effort on their part. I did not pursue, but am still a loyal Buick fan with a 1965 Riviera Gran Sport, a 1965 Skylark Gran sport Convertible (4-speed), a 1961 LeSabre Convertible w/ 49k miles, 2 1965 Riviera in restoration see the download of a beautiful 1964 Skylark that I just sold as I ran out of room, plus several GTO's. I joined the Pontiacs of Central California with the GTOs and found out that they welcome Buick, Olds, and Cadillacs to all of their functions including their annual car show plus many tours, parties, and just enjoying our pride of ownership. email me or post if you are interested. Good luck with your car and do not feel alone. Paul
  8. Hi There, Yes, I am the seller ...... the reason for selling is that after 3 years of restoring my 1965 Skylark Conv. Gran Sport 4-speed with 425 & 2 4bbl carbs, so I need the room. Any info that you may want email me pduran1860@sbcglobal.net Good luck in your search. Paul The 64 even has a truck release in the glove box .... quite a few options.
  9. Hi New Skylarkconv, Just posted on ebay a 1964 Skylark Convertible, check it out. One of the cleanest, nicest, most original one you'll find. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16124&item=4535299732&rd=1 Good luck Paul
  10. On ebay, I have listed an almost mint set of VERY RARE GRAN SPORT HUB CAPS for RIVIERA............. you do not see these, check them out ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...TRK%3AMESE%3AIT
  11. I need to purchase the headlight relays, these are the ones that make the headlights go up and go down. One is on the front inner fender passenger side the other is in the drivers side inner front fender. 3-terminals on one side and one by itself on the other for one ......... the other has 3 terminals on one side and two on the other. Please quote, dondition and price on first email. pduran1860@sbcglobal.net Thanks Paul
  12. The cost to install a sbc v/s a buick will be more due to the many components that will not match up nor work w/ the sbc .... not to mention that probably most everyone that might have an interest in your Buick when and if the time comes to sell it will probably walk away as soon as you mention that you have a sbc in a Buick. ...... look about 4 listings below you a gentlemen is selling a 322 Buick v/8 and dynaflo trans that when rebuilt would do everything that you want your Buick to do and if you do eventually sell it would increase the value. My opinion "When you have a Buick, Keep it all Buick" Paul
  13. HI Mike, Please give your location and expected price and a little better description of cars condition. thanks Paul
  14. I have a 1965 Skylark GS w/ the 401 V/8 4-speed and would like to know if someone out there builds a starter for it that is the mini size like I have seen sold for Chevrolets. The area that the factory starter fits into makes it very difficult to install/remove and connect the wires, it also is very close to the exhaust so I'm concerned about the possibility of the cables grounding out. Thanks Paul
  15. Now I really feel bad ..... In the process of cleaning out my storage area, I located a rear bumper for a 1972 Olds 442 and a front bumper from a 1967 GTO that I discarded because I did not feel that the repair would have been justified especially because I replaced those "driver quality" bumpers for about $300 including shipping. By the looks of those pictures my bumpers would have qualified for the term "MINT" which obviously they were not. Just like the ones Steve sold were not acceptable nor accurately described. I am very grateful for the internet, because good or bad the information on it is available to anyone with a computer. Paul
  16. Has anyone received any info on this car via phone or email .... looks like we have another Posting to see how many people out there respond. Paul
  17. Hi Richard, Do you have pics that you can send? What is the condition, interior, body, paint, color, chrome, engine, etc.... Please send to pduran1860@sbcglobal.net thanks Paul
  18. Hi MaryLou, Please post a price and where the car is located by city and state. That would help anyone that may be interested in your car. Thanks Pauo\l
  19. Hi There, Due to the fact that the 1986 Buick Skylark is basically a used car v/s a collectible the selling price will also be low in comparison to a Gran National which is highly sought after. If you know a good painter, you may consider a scotch bright treatment to remove the flaking loose clear coat and if there is no checking clear coat the entire car. That would not be very expensive as the chrome and bumpers etc can be masked off when re-cleared. That way the car has not had a paint job, the flaking has been arrested, the cost is reasonable and when you sell the new owner can drive as is. Just a suggestion, I have done it and the vehicle has turned out well. Talk to a painter for his opinion or maybe someone else has does this. Value is somewhere around $4,000 +/- depending on condition and your buyer. Good Luck Paul
  20. I thought that price and location were necessary with each post as it would save a lot of time. A decision to purchase can be easily made when you know price and location. Please help us all out and post. Thanks Paul
  21. Thanks for the suggestion, I will write a letter and send it to him, I was hoping that someone that has had experience with him previously could shed some light as to the type person he is and that something has happened that prevented him from completing the sale. Thanks Paul
  22. Hi There, This is a warning to mostly owners of GS400 or Skylark Owners, I needed and posted my meed for a 67 GS Grille and received an email from Richard Sellers 1824 Ridgeway Yukon, OK 73099 that he had one for $175.00 plus shipping. I sent him the funds over two months ago and have never received the grille. I did get an email from him that he had been on vacation and would promptly ship the grille guess what ............ NO GRILLE. If anyone out there knows him or has had other bad experiences with him. PLEASE POST. Unfortunately because of a very few dishonest vendors it makes many buyers reluctant to buy what they need. We do not need his kind in our hobby. Any assistance in getting a refund would be greatly appreciated. He does not respond to emails either. This is his email abefroman@sbcglobal.net Thanks for any help or info Paul
  23. Hi There, I have 4 Alloy wheels w/ center caps for a 1988 Buick Regal GS .... were removed in 1991 and have been boxed & stored since. Car has been sold, believe the wheels are 15 x 7 and are the spun aluminum, could be polished for the chrome look. Let me know if these are of interest. I am in Fresno, California. Thanks Paul 559.355.3551
