I cringe at the fate of this car. To make it almost 100 years and be so complete and unnolested is a feat, and makes it an excellent restoration candidate. But, it's expensive to restore. The radiator ornament alone is probably worth $500.

Unless that is a suitcase full of cash in the trunk that comes with it, I think this car is overpriced by 2x, maybe a little more, for a Special sedan.
Too many issues and red flags for this money. Those rockers look to me like they've been bondoed up and there is bubbling in the paint, so there is probably a mess of holes underneath that paint and filler. The seat covers are aftermarket so upholstery is probably shot. The stainless is mostly missing from the rear bumper and it will need carpet and trunk upholstery.

Well, I almost got trunk done today but didn't get a many hours to work as I'd hoped. Nonetheless it's almost there. I got all the mats and fabric made, and got the rear speaker in.
I just need to install the cardboard panels and the trunk light.

Not too surprised. That looked like a pretty nice unmolested flat top!

Hello and thank you for the internet link and for the information
.
The problem is that there are no photos of the product for sale
And I would have liked to see what it looks like before buying .
Are these two announcements the same ?https://www.rubbertherightway.com/1969-buick-restoration-parts-windowfelt-51383-prd1.htm
https://www.rubbertherightway.com/1969-buick-restoration-parts-beltline-47387-prd1.htm
I think on the second link it is the inner seal and not the outer seal.
And it doesn't have the same shape.
Mine is flat and it attaches to the chrome strip on the door. The four window motors work very well and do not make any abnormal noise, so I have it and left it on their support.
But on the other hand, I have completely greased everything as well as the motor pinion on the main ring gearDid you have a photo of your friend's Electra ?
Did you try sending them an email with a picture of an example? I have found them to be pretty helpful.

Even if it doesn't cure your low oil pressure, it needed to be done, so no time wasted!

What a beauty! Is that an unrestored car? Is it cruise-ready?

Well, I haven't had any more appreciable time to work on the car (hopefully will tomorrow), but I did manage to get it registered with a vintage plate and get it installed along with an original accessory license plate frame.
I also dug out all of the upholstery materials so I can work on the trunk and prepare to get the interior put together after the new year.
A few years ago while talking to a guy about other parts, more talking led to the discovery that he had several yards of NOS upholstery in his rafters from many moins prior that he no longer needed. As it turned out, it was the exact material for this car. I'd already purchased reproduction material, but couldn't pass it up as it's likely the last in existence.
Below is a comparison of the original (left) and reproduction (right). The grey color is darker in the original, and the thicker portion of the pattern in the original is more like a very dark grey as opposed to black in new stuff, while the smaller portions in between are pure black.
Also, the thread size in the underlying black is slightly different and woven a bit more crisply, but I had to look very, very closely to notice this.
Overall, the reproduction looks very close and has the same feel. In this age and for a pattern this complex, I really wouldn't be able to complain; it's very, very good. Both have the chrome thread wiven throughout sparingly.
Here is a shot with original on top, showing the backside.
Finally, here is a close up of the two, with original on the left.

As a side note, the silver 65 that was on BAT in May of 2018 and sold for $84k, was purchased by the selling dealer the previous month on ebay for $45k. Minor clean up and better pictures netted a nice profit!
Wow

I saw this... I would love to have it!

Good evening Mr. Phillips, I believe you spoke with my dad today, Lee Clark? He told me you have two radiators. Are you still wanting to sell the one for the Super?
DeWayne, You need to either tag @Pete Phillips or quote him so he gets a notification...

Read the comments on the BAT auction. Someone was trying to scam off it a couple years ago, too. I suspect someone hacked this account. It's not normal for someone with 20 years on Ebay to pull major scam. Every one I've seen has been a new user.
Either that, or someone came into this car since then and is pretty clueless, but that seems unlikely.

Also, what does the seller need purchase protection for?
I was wondering the same thing

I am not a prewar expert, but my dad used to have a 28 Master, and this looks very much like it except his had more vinyl behind the rear window; maybe a slightly different model? However, the radiator ornament as far as I can tell in picture looks like a 28 (very hard to find if you need one).

It’s a scam, IMHO. No way this car is for sale for $37k.
Unless the account has been hacked, not likely. Seller has been on Ebay since 2000 and has a fair amount of feedback.

Wow! Deals for those with time and space

Somebody is getting a really awesome car for a very fair price

Well, short story is wrong/crappy aftermarket pushrods were installed. My comment from August (https://forums.aaca.org/topic/360410-my-1958-limited-750/?do=findComment&comment=2259019) explains some, and Adam can chime in with more current details.
