  6. Very interesting Loco. I would like to know the history of the body / coachbuilder. This might be considered as heresy but when I look at it from the side, I see potential for a marvelous roadster pickup truck. Whatever its future holds, I hope it's story will unfold in this forum. Ben
  7. Al The 8-80 Loco has a semi-floating rear axle. Ben
  8. Thanks for the response, No inboard crease.

  15. I believe this windshield frame is for a closed 8-80 Locomobile. It needs to be reworked but it is solid. I will bring it to Hershey this Fall if anyone needs it for their Loco project.
  16. Al, I do miss that website. I was hoping that this subject would come up. Thanks, Ben
  17. Al, I believe they are the same. Internal vs. external threads is the difference. Ben
  18. Hi Al, The Model 90 and 8-80 radiator necks are threaded externally as opposed to the Model 48 with internal threads. It is 3 3/4" across the flats. Thanks, Ben
  19. Looking for a Model 90 or 8-80 Locomobile radiator cap. It will have internal threads, 16 tpi, and approximately 2 5/8" ID. Thanks for looking, Ben

  22. Hi to All, It was beautiful today in New England, had the 2 Locos out for a little fresh air and exercise. What a way to spend the day.
  23. Hi, Tough to open with the number plate in the way. The 7passenger touring is large enough that I have never needed to use the trunk for storage. The lining appears to be wallpaper and the trunk is held on with 4 leather straps only. The cutout in the bottom is for the inner tube valve stems. I am not sure of its construction as it is completely covered. Probably built as waterproof but the leather binding is not so supple anymore.
