  2. Yes must have swelled up I have removed all bolts I think all are out .I will look with a mirror at the under side .I just hate to hit the distributor I sprayed oil on it last night maybe this morning the oil will have helped .--kyle
  3. The wood being 90 percent . I have been trying to get it running this weekend . here is the new battery box riveted out of some nice steel and hand formed to look like the original . the first dry run is good got some oil pressure up wile turning it over with the starter .now to figure out timing and coil . I have been hitting the ears on the lower linkage hold down bracket .- the distributor is stuck big time 100 hits it moved 1/16'' I can keep hitting it ???. any body input welcome

  7. Got oil presume wile spinning the engine up with the starter glad I knew to push down a little with a piece of wood after the starter turned over a minute started working right by its self it was just sticky . now to cheek timing --kyle

  9. Battery box installed where to ground negative side of battery ?? I looked at the others and no battery cables left on them .
  10. How fast can you drive a good shape 1925 roadster ? How many more days do I have to get ready for the meet ? How many spare tiers would you carry
  11. Well I finely get to make my battery box today out of stainless steel Thank you for telling me to rivet it together Hubert_25_25 OR I would have tig welded it for sure . Maybe This weekend I will get to start it up. I trying any way set your sights for the moon and you might end up a star .

  18. Summer time tires season is here time to switch it up .the first day of 84 deg. Time to drive my favorite car " summer car " 2004 SSR next to my 1925-40 just digging out the truck

I drive my 90 year old truck to work often .I like the slow way home its 25 mil round trip Just thought if we have a few old cars going that way at one time we could have a nice aluminium car trailer to follow us just in case?? and a set of tools ,spare starter ,clutch, h2o pump, would make the long way to the meet fun !!---kyle
