I bought the new sending unit and decided to use my old one because the new one didn't have a vent on to like my original one. But there is no ground screw on the old one . How do you ground a one post sending unit ? I was thinking of grounding on one of the mounting screws but they are brass. Will i get a ground on brass screws?

There is NO insulator on the smaller terminal on the sender.

Here is a pic of the back of my gauge ...The # 15 wire is the only wire at the back of the car. No i don't have a diagram i can find.

Thanks Joe, The OTHER terminial that is the ground, would that count as the tank being grounded or do i still have to ground the tank some other way?

I got a new sending unit for my 1934 Buick gas tank and it doesn't say in the instructions what wires go to these 2 posts . Any help will be appreciated . Thanks

It was overcast and rainy later in the day. We came back yesterday to Michigan. we went on a 8 day river cruise down the Danube. I really enjoyed seeing all the towns along the way..You have to pay 50 cents when you want to use any bathroom anywhere in Europe.

It was in a " Recommended " shopping area . Anyone know what year or kind of car this is?
