  1. Rick, can't access your web site with what you posted. Tim Hoffman
  2. I have a Rockne Serial plate mounted on the left frame rail, I need a body tag with 31-W-2 on it and a body number below it.
  3. In need of a 1933 Studebaker Rockne Model 10 4Dr Sedan DeLuxe Model & Serial number plate, mine was missing when I received the car. The top Model number on the plate would need to be 31-W-2 and the bottom Serial number would be 46??. This is the plate that would be located on the bottom of the cowl on the drivers side, the steel plate is approximately 3-3/4" long and 1-11/16" wide.
  4. I have an extra speedometer cable for my 1933 Rockne, not sure if it will fit your Commander.
  5. I am in need of some advice on how to install interior cloth in my Rockne above the windows between the wind lace. Was there wood above the windows to tack the material to, my interior was all out of the car when I received it. The headliner is in, but I need advice from the headliner to the door wind lace and around the quarter and rear windows. If anyone can advise me if you would reply with a phone number I would like to discuss this with you. Thanks! thoffs@woh.rr.com
  6. Where is this located, looks like there is an awful lot of good Studebaker parts and vehicles available. I live in Ohio.
  7. I am in need of information on my 1933 Rockne with finding the right parts for the windshield wiper and the assembly of it to the windshield motor shaft that comes through the body. I would love to see pictures of the parts and the assembly if someone could take them for me, that's the last thing I need to get working. The car looks good and she is running and driving.
  8. A 33 Rockne Coupe owner in Southern California gave me his original coil. When he got his car it didn't have an engine or transmission so he was going to put a V8 in it and change to a 12 volt system so he didn't need it. I received it, media blasted the contacts in the key switch and after fixing some other issues (rebuilt fuel pump, fix carburetor leak and distributor was grounding out) the engine fired right up. I have been helping him get parts to restore his Rockne and advising him on the roof replacement, window seals, etc. to get another Rockne running and driving. I sent him two of the Rockne patches also. Thoffs
  9. Brad, I didn't know that you haven't driven your Rockne in two years. I have about 125 miles on mine since I got it running, I found a spare carburetor on EBay and I have an extra distributor. It is supposed to go in for the interior this week sometime. I received all the information on the Concours Car Show and I am tentatively planning on hauling the Rockne to it. My hood popped off and now I have to find someone who can braze my hood hinge up for me. Tim
  10. Looking for the center hood hinge for a 32 model 65 or a 33 model 10 Rockne.
  11. I had the same problem on my 1933 Rockne Model 10 just a couple of weeks ago, could not get any oil pressure. First I blew air in my gauge to make sure it was working. I put an extra quart of oil in to make sure the pickup tube was buried in oil and the Napa dealer told me to pack the oil pump with lithium grease and after a little cranking I got about fifth-teen lbs. of oil pressure. If your timing is right do not remove the pump, just take three bolts out of the cover and rotate cover to expose the gears and then pack it as best you can. Good Luck!
  12. I would appreciate the info you have on the Stromberg UR-2 carburetor, I do have a copy of the Specifications and Adjustment Manual for a 1932 Studebaker Rockne Model 65. My car is a 1933 Studebaker Rockne Model 10. Also do you know where I could find a rebuild kit for this carburetor. my address: Tim Hoffman 605 Smith Road Fremont, Ohio 43420 Thoffs@woh.rr.com
  13. Problem has been solved, somehow a small piece of thread tape got stuck up inside the valve hole at the shut off and prevented the valve from seating when the float would push it up. Thanks for your comments, I check the forum regularly and enjoy reading the comments. Thoffs
  14. Looking for a rebuild kit or the best possible person to rebuild a Studebaker Rockne UR-2 carburetor. I had mine rebuilt by a local Napa Auto Parts Store and I have fuel coming out of the top of the accelerator pump. I don't know if the float is set to high or if there is another problem. i did have the engine idling today for about a minute, first time it's ran in 41 years. Any help would be very much appreciated.
  15. Jason, I can't open the attachments, it said to notify administrator that it was an invalid link. thanks, Tim
  16. Thanks guys, I have a rebuild kit on the way from Dave and also new Rockne brake springs. tim Hoffman
  17. Jason, I am interested in the generator, starter and the water pump for spare parts if the numbers match my "33" Rockne. My Starter is an OEM Auto-Lite MAJ #4030 and my Generator is an OEM Auto-Lite GAM #4501. I will have to check the water pump to see if there are any numbers on it. My car is a 6 volt positive ground system, so the generator has to be correct. Thanks, Tim Hoffman
  18. I am sorry but I don't know what Dave you are referring to, I need some way of contacting him; name, phone number or email address would be helpful. Thank You!
  19. Can anyone help me find a diagram of the AC fuel pump assembly 1521025 showing what springs and ceramic discs are used and where. I have been searching the Internet but cannot come up with anything. Also where I could find a rebuild kit, my pump is not working. Thank You.
  20. Ignore this post about needing a Auto-Lite starting coil, I found one and it is currently being shipped to me. The gentlemen that is sending it to me is changing his 33 Rockne Coupe over to 12 volt system and does not have a use for it.
  21. Looking for a left front window interior garnish molding for a 1933 Rockne Coupe Model 31-Q-1. If you have one or know of someone who does please contact Bob Noffsinger @ 760-345-3460 PAC or Tim Hoffman @ 419-334-3172 EST.
  22. I finally received a reply from Steve Munts, he confirmed all the rumors. His business is officially closed and it is up for sale, he can still get parts but is not making any parts. His health is not good plus his wife is going through cancer treatment. If you ask him he will forward your requests for make parts onto the new owners, whoever they may be.
  23. Good luck in finding one, I had the same problem on my Rockne. I had the two sides like yours with slot in them. I sent my two rollers to LeBaron Bonney and they put new material on them with cords and the tassel. I bought one of there stock GM shades for my rear window, roller is wood but same material as sides. I know it's not original but it will look good, just a suggestion.
  24. Brad, I am not sure if it's the same as our Naco's, I talked to the fellow on the phone and then I tried to find a picture of a 32 Model 55 taillight. The reason I'm trying to find one for him is that he has a Delco Remy 3position starting coil that he will trade me if I can find him a NOS taillight. If you can help me I sure would appreciate it. I posted to both Studebaker Forum's. Tim
  25. I typed it wrong I am looking for a Model 55 taillight.
