yeah i know it, but like for the first one i'm hoping it stands out to someone due to the weird split in the middle! back then most coupes had bucket seats not a split bench...
-
i've had these seat for a few years now and have yet to figure out what they are for. they look like they are from the 30's. and it it helps i got them from a collection that contain many packard and some caddy parts.

Should I add seat belts to 1920's touring car?
what is it? replied to lump's topic in General Discussion
5 point harness and a cage with helmet , hans, and a fire suit.....now your fairly safe. -
one of the quickest way to tell that its a chevy is that the spare you can see has 6 lug hole pattern. chevy (and pontiac) was one of the only marques to use 6 lug wheels on both it its cars and half ton trucks.

if to be restored you should source and stick a continental kit on it.

at least i dont think it is... I got this old zenith carburetor and it looks very similar to the model a carb but theres a lot of differences. asfaras numbers go theres a 94 embossed in the top and also stamped in the top is A740 and then theres a small circle tag but its so beat up all i can make out is a 135 number. ive been searching for awhile and found one other posted online but that peson didnt know what it was either....so any ideas?

i got this hood the other day with a bunch of other parts.......its made mostly of aluminum! not many cars back in the 20's-30's had aluminum hoods except some fancy ones. and its huge! its 35 inches long and the top panels are 23 wide on the cowl end so 46 inches across the top. then funny enough the sides are only 13 inches tall. so anyone know what this is? Duesenberg!? lol i wish!

thanks! though looks to be 1923.
-
its been a year so id like to bump for some newer input

i was at the wisconsin kissel museum last month and its super neat! there was a total of 25 kissel cars and trucks there. so over 1/8th the total population in there
-
i got this headlight that i cant figure out what its from.... its early mid 20's vintage. and i think the tube was welded on later in time.
-
well for instance look at the lower section in this picture.....notice its nearly a full circle while the one you posted is not.
-
i know this may not technically be the place for this but im posting this due to the oddity and rarity rather than the fact that its for sale... i didnt know they had factory air as an option back then!? i mean most cadillacs didnt even have it then! so i would say rare doesnt even begin to describe how rare it is! i couldnt imagine more than what? a dozen in existence!? if that! http://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/4901727313.html even though its at least 6+ hours away from me i certainly wouldnt mind picking this up especially since its so solid!

while it looks really close its not exactly the same.......still maybe mopar though?

my thought exactly looks very 20's-30's

i picked up what i figured to be a ford steering column, but is not. other that a couple numbers the only symbol i could find was a little ''iron cross'' with either an ''I'' or a ''1'' in the center
