  1. I have available an exceptionally rare and unique piece of Ford Motor Company history. This is an original advertising agency mockup proposal for the 1935 Ford V8 car sales brochure. Created on cardstock paper with multiple illustrations proposing different elements for the brochure. The letters on the cover are raised paint for a unique textured effect and there are many pencil notations throughout from the artist. No doubt hundreds of mockups like this were created in production of the beautiful advertising brochures of this time period. However, almost all of this material was destroyed and it is rarely seen today. The "brochure" measures 5" by 8" and is in good condition for its age. Some light surface wear throughout. Asking $750 usd shipped within North America (Worldwide shipping available at extra cost). I do have other vintage design studio and advertising agency art available if there is interest
  2. I haven't had a chance to list them but they are for sale. Asking $150 USD each plus actual shipping cost. Note that the 1914 plate does have some chips which have been touched up with white paint (around the mounting holes). I don't currently have any other porcelain plates. If interested, please email me at info@classicallydriven.com - I will be happy to provide additional photos and condition information Thanks, Mike

  15. Hi Matthew, Thank you very much for the suggestion and for taking the time to look into this! I really appreciate it and will reach out to the National Library this weekend. I will definitely update the AACA library (as well as in this thread) if I am able to learn anything more about these. Regards, Mike.
  16. Thank you very much for the suggestions!! I will try to contact those institutions and will update on anything I hear back I did post these a while back (Maybe 3-6 months ago) and received a number of helpful general replies. However, no one was able to conclusively identify either the artist or their company, so I am trying a reposting
  17. I have a group of 5 original drawings that look to have been created by a coachbuilder. All are signed "R. Steffen" and dated between 1922 and 1930 - they depict designs based on Rolls Royce, Hispano Suiza, Avions Voisin and Lancia cars. These were clearly produced by a talented professional but I have not been able to find any information. I acquired them from a collector in France. Any information about these would be greatly appreciated - biography of the designer, the firm they worked for, etc. Thanks in advance! Mike.
  18. Offering a series of 10 Packard ad proofs. Note that these are blank back proofs that would have been sent to dealerships as samples of print advertising campaigns that were running at the time - they are not ads cut from magazines (see last photo for an example of the backs). All measure 8 1/2" by 11". Condition: All of these have been 3 hole punched and all also have a paperclip indentation on the upper left edge. In some cases, there is some rust staining on the paper clip indentation and / or some light corner and edge wear. They are, however, still very nice pieces that would look great framed. These are hard to find in any condition. Asking $25 USD each plus one of the shipping options below (same shipping cost for one or all) USA, No tracking - $5 USA, tracking - $15 Canada, no tracking - $3 Canada, tracking - $10 Worldwide, no tracking - $10 Worldwide, tracking - Please contact as this will be fairly expensive Very open to package offers on multiple pieces as well Please email info@classicallydriven.com for more details or to arrange purchase.
  19. I want to sincerely apologize if anyone on this forum feels that this item was misrepresented in my initial post - that is certainly not my intention. The eBay listing and post include clear, close-up photos of all wear to the piece and this is described in the eBay listing. I have sold on eBay as a hobby for over 10 years and my feedback rating there is over 6000 and 100% positive. I have also sold directly to many AACA members. I back all items that I sell and do my best to describe / picture all items accurately. I do personally believe that this is a beautiful piece of history and as indicated on the ad, it is ideal as a display piece, to re-purpose or for use as-is on a 'rat rod' or driver condition car. Regarding price, this is the first week I have posted this item at auction. If it doesn't sell first week, I am open to offers from serious buyers.

  23. Posting this for a friend and hope a Ford expert can assist. The attached photos show 17 tools that are believed to come from either a Ford Model T or Model A tool kit. However, we are not sure of the year or the exact model(s) that these apply to. Can anyone provide this information? Any insights regarding the rarity or value of these items would also be greatly appreciated. Are they best sold as a set or individually? Thanks in advance!
