It's called "Bitchin Rides" I think. The car was way too complete to do what they did but it came out very nice.

Wonder if this one would fit? Hmmmmmmm {rubs chin}

Are you sure? I need one for my 36 Coupe and it looks like what I have researched, but I am far from the expert many of you folks are. MikeBurch, I want it if it is for a 1936 Dodge. Kaiser, not doubting you just wanting to verify. Thanks all

Although I agree for the most part I must inject a few caveats. #1 Car manufacturers have incorporated "trends" and "modifications" into their designs that came out of the cutomizing communitity for years. #2 The strict "no old car should ever be modified" crowd go wayyyy overboard at times. I can think of a few on this forum. I'm of the school of thought that if you're going to preach that philosophy, then every detail down to the paint better be authentic. I've seen quite a few "holier than Thou" types that have cars painted using modern two stage paints. If you're going to preach you better tow the line. #3 It's his car. Enough said.

I agree Hudsy. And I've always been a fan of "sleepers" too, so if you must "Hot Rod" it, do it without butchering a beautiful car.

I am interested if the price is right

Love the car but as 1933 said don't expect to get lots of $$$ for it. #1 Not in demand #2 4 door Super cool clean car though

It's a 1936 5 Window Coupe. The whole car has surface rust but rust through is only on the pasenger side floor pan where your feet would rest and that spot is about half as big as the battery box opening. Also the extreme lower body behind the driver's door and the rail below the driver's door. All glass and rubber will need to be replaced. Do not have the original engine but do have one 218 and one 230. No original transmission. Missing dash panel for driver's side (false glove box door?) I'd say body is 95% complete but needs full restoration. Interior needs seat and panels and full restoration. It's mostly all there and being a west coast (AZ) car it's relatively rust free. Any thoughts about price would be appreciated. I may need to sell this because of life events. Thanks in Advance.

Sweet isn't it. Price seems a bit high but it's worth quite a bit if complete and as advertised -

Why am I not seeing the photos?

I'm losing my mind latelt Jim. I was talking about taillights. For some reason I skipped ahead in the thread and thought that it was about taillights. Sorry folks
-
The one I have that was complete had a spring steel thick wire that had 3 triangular bends in it that the lenses rested on. It's circular and rested against the lamp body and inside the chrome trim. The 3 triangular raised portions contact the lense and since it's spring steel this held the lense inside the chrome.
-
Thanks Jim. What about the spring that holds the lense? I have one but need one. I gues you could make one if you found the right material?
-
Any source for replacement trim rings?
-
Yeah, I guess so, the ad is confusing

If the grill badge works for a 36 and the price is right, I'd like it. Can y6ou PM me? Thanks

I've got the OEM adapter plate from a 230 L-Head to a Powerflight. From everything I can gather the bolt pattern is the same as the Torqueflight. A 904 would be a nice tranny behine a 230 or even an overdrive unit.
