  1. okay, went and backed down the idle lower and the car is sputtering worse in park, and in gear dies.
  2. My 1955 322 runs fine when in park, but when I put it in gear it really chugs forward and idles wildy rough. I have had the carb rebuilt, and have the idle set fairly high, checked all plugs and wires good spark. Thoughts?
  3. cool, thank you! I have both of those.
  4. What does an X mean at the end of the Style number
  5. I had the same problem, mine broke at the base. Definitely search for a cadillac part, they are much more plentiful, and what I used to fix mine. Cheers!
  6. Im pretty sure that car has been sold. I saw it for sale in Georgia too. However, I do totally agree, this is just an absolutely beautiful car. James, you are too 1955 Buick Roadmaster testy.
  7. Bob, thank you great info. Can you suggest a supplier that I should look into?
  8. My 1955 Roadmaster needs new side Glass. It is a Factory Air Conditioned Car. What color glass should I get? Can anyone suggest a supplier they have had success with? Thank you!
  9. For perspective an absolutely beautiful and correct version of your car just sold on the forum for around 22k. Cheers!
  10. Mr. Earl, you should google how to use the Microsoft Snipping tool, it will keep you from ever going through all that pain again. Bests, Eric
  11. I think 54 might, but 56 definitely wont.
  12. While talking about this trailer indefinitely may certainly be fun. The car is home now. Lets talk about this beautiful Buick Roadmaster, more pics more stories, more plans, more thoughts, more ideas!
  13. This isn't the correct seat style for a 55, it should have inserts in the middle. Looks great though. I dont think this is Cadet blue, as it should be, I really think this is turquoise. Just a great buy though!!
  14. Huge congratulations! I hope you enjoy the heck out of that car.
  15. I just love when people put in ads, will not respond to texts or emails. aka, "I steadfastly do not wish to sell my car, and do not wish to communicate via modern means" lol
  16. I will reach out to my friend again and tell him you are motivated now! I hope you two can reach a deal. Eric
  17. I need new carpet for my Roadmaster, when I went to ACC, it indicates loop carpet, is that what they are calling Daytona Weave? Thanks!
  18. Thanks Gents, This is for Lady Bell, I am kind of thrilled she wants her own collector vehicle.
  19. My wife, God love her, has decided she can't live without a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. So I am on the search for a realistically priced one ($<10K). Any leads would be most appreciated. Thanks! Eric Bell
  20. Have to keep in mind with a 1955 Buick you are dealing with parts that aren't just off the shelf, therefore price always skyrockets. My friend Al from the 1955 Buick Facebook Page just had a brand new Radiator built by Walker for his 1955 Buick Century. I cant imagine they would be very different.
  21. I am not personally looking for one, there is another gentleman in this thread who is though. Are you trying to get about 15-20K for yours? Good Luck! Eric Bell
  22. Had any luck selling the Super yet? I passed the info along to my friend.
  23. Terry is correct, thats why I responded that I was keeping an eye out for a series 80, I didnt even notice you had put 80 in your ad! Ha, Sorry. The Series 90 is a beautiful car, but it is just a HUGE car, the series 80 is a little more manageable in its dimensions. Good Luck! EB
  24. Thank you very much for sharing this one, it is high on my list, and a friend of mine has shared it with me already, so its on the radar. I am going to keep my eye out for a series 80 first, but will keep in touch. Thank you! Eric Bell
  25. Jeff, I am sorry I wasn't able to track that down, I did a search through the classifieds on HCCA. Darn!
